Local FSA offices are gathering information and
submitting reports, which will be sent to the USDA and
are the basis of any disaster declaration that may be
made. As of Friday, only 14 Ohio counties had reported
suspected damage. If you have not reported damage to
your local FSA office yet, please do it
immediately.
Congressman Space also recommends that you
contact your U.S. Congressional District representatives
and U.S. Senators, sharing with them your immediate
concerns, and the need to improve perennial crop
insurance and disaster assistance programs. Visit
www.opgma.org
to locate your local FSA office and government
officials.
